The Clarity-to-Investor Framework is the method Deck Studio uses to turn a founder’s raw business into an investor-ready pitch deck. It moves a deck through seven stages, from the first discovery conversation to final delivery, and checks one thing at every stage: clarity. Not clarity of design, clarity of thinking. A deck built this way does not just look finished. It shows an investor that the founder understands exactly what they are building and why it matters.
The framework was developed by Duygu Dulger, founder of Deck Studio, and is used on every project, whether the client is a pre-seed founder raising a first round or a Series A company refining its story.

The principle behind it
Most pitch deck work starts with design. This framework starts with thinking. A beautiful deck cannot rescue a story the founder has not clarified for themselves, and a clear story rarely needs rescuing by design. So clarity comes first, and everything visual is built on top of it, not in place of it. The order is the point.
The seven stages
1. Discovery call
The work starts with an in-depth conversation. The questions are built to push the founder and their team to think hard about the business and its bigger goals, not just the slides. This is where the real positioning gets found, and it sets the direction for everything that follows.
2. Team collaboration
A detailed intake form gathers the insights, documents, and data from across the founding team. It is designed to surface the critical details and prompt internal discussion about the points that matter, so nothing important is missing before the build begins.
3. Review and fix
Before any slide gets designed, the underlying business case gets reviewed: positioning, go-to-market, monetization, and financials. Anything unclear, incomplete, or misaligned gets flagged and fixed here. This is the stage that separates a deck that looks right from one that is right.
4. Design alignment
Two design directions are created, each with a few sample slides, so the founder can align on the visual direction early. This locks the look and feel to the brand before the full build, which avoids expensive rework later.
5. Storyline and messaging
The narrative and slide titles are developed together. The goal is a deck that flows, where each slide sets up the next and the titles carry the argument rather than just label the page. This is where the story becomes something an investor can follow without effort.
6. Complete slide creation
With design and messaging aligned, every slide is built and the first full version of the deck is delivered for review. Two rounds of revisions follow, so the deck can be tuned against real feedback until it fits the founder’s goals.
7. Final delivery
The finished deck is delivered in fully editable formats, PowerPoint or Google Slides, along with PDFs, so the founder is ready to present to investors in whatever format each meeting calls for.
What a founder ends up with
A deck where the thinking is sound, the story is clear, the titles carry the argument, and the design supports all of it. Ready for investor meetings, not just nice to look at. That is the outcome the Clarity-to-Investor Framework is built to produce.
